3 Dubrovnik Wedding Venues for Beautiful Mediterranean Destination Wedding

Fort Lovrijenac

Often referred to as “Dubrovnik’s Gibraltar,” Fort Lovrijenac (St. Lawrence Fortress) is a
fortress and theater located outside the western wall of Dubrovnik in Croatia. Located 37 meters
above sea level, this fort features 360-degree views of the Adriatic Sea. Fort Lovrijenac once
defended Dubrovnik against the Venetians in the 11th century.

In modern times, Game of Thrones has used this fort as a film location. Its triangular shape
includes three terraces that overlook the old city and surrounding islands. Hence, it is the perfect
place to host a memorable destination wedding in Croatia. This venue is known for hosting
glamorous events and weddings of all kinds.

Fort Lovrijenac has a maximum capacity of 150 guests.

Villa Orsula

One of the best and most luxurious wedding venues in all of Dubrovnik, Villa Orsula is a
beautifully-refurbished hotel that is a wonderful wedding venue in Croatia. It was constructed in
1939 and underwent a complete restoration and renovation before it reopened in the spring of
2012.

Mediterranean tradition inspired Villa Orsula’s grand stone architecture, now a boutique five-star
hotel. This stunning Villa is adjacent to picturesque cascading seafront gardens with amazing
views of Lokrum Island, the Adriatic Sea, and the Dubrovnik Old Town. Furthermore, the hotel
features 11 rooms and two suites, all featuring stylish decor, luxurious vintage style, and modern
minimalism.

This venue can host anywhere from 20 to 80 guests.

Višnjica

Visnjica resides at the top of a famous lookout point with a stunning view. The steep rock peak
offers one of the most amazing views of Dubrovnik and the surrounding islands. This gorgeous,
spacious, well-equipped outdoor event venue is the perfect place for a Dubrovnik destination
wedding.

Located in Park Orsula, 200 meters above the sea, this impressive outdoor venue can be
transformed to suit a variety of events and weddings, from daytime gatherings to enchanting
nighttime locations for gala dinners and festivities.

This venue includes private parking, AV equipment, catering options, an event tent, and a
fantastic view of the historic town.

Additionally, this venue can host up to 400 guests.

Dubrovnik Weddings

In conclusion, Dubrovnik, Croatia, is full of amazing wedding and events venues with stunning
views of the Adriatic Sea. From hilltop lookout points to luxury resorts, to ancient forts, this area
